Tonight we will be continuing on sin. It’s very important to know how to deal with sin, we should never take sin lightly as people in Christ. Without further ado lets take a look at scripture for tonight. If you do not have your bible then please follow along and remember do not take my word for it look it up for yourself, this is what you believe in right? Then let’s get to learning. Galatians 6:1 “Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted”. This is something that I had to learn and it have took me some time to understand this. You cannot always expect people to understand that what they are doing is wrong. It is our job to help them in a kind and loving way and if they do not want to hear anymore or keep making up excuses no matter what the word of God says then leave it alone. I have been through this where I was trying to help someone else but as I kept talking to them it made me feel like what I was doing was wrong and I wanted to stop helping others in a spiritual sense to go back out into the world where I thought I should have been but i was the one who was wrong by continuing to talk to someone about spiritual matters when they don’t care about it. I was tempted at the time. Lets take a look at another scripture, Matthew 18:15 If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over”. Now remember there are true Christians who will listen to you and fake Christians who will not listen to you but if they do listen and make corrections in their life then know that they are real Christians.

There are a lot of people who say to not talk to them about anything that they are doing wrong and they look at us who helps them as being judgmental but understand that you are not being judgmental the bible clearly says to help restore that person who is in sin. We as members in Christ have to understand that sin is a feel good moment type thing that leads to destruction. In other words, it may feel good for the moment but ultimately it leads to destruction. As I have stated before it’s good to have people around that can keep you in line because we will have times where we will fall short.

Ex. James 3:10 Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be.

The Bible clearly states here that if you are someone who curses and thinks to praise God is right then you are mistaken. Now if you tell someone this and they continue to do so then we have to leave it alone because we have done our job and they who did not listen is not a true Christian especially one who does not feel convicted about their sin. For me, I always feel funny when it comes to sin and then I better myself. For anyone in Christ who love God will do good. Anyone who does not love God will ignore God.

Tonight lesson on sin was about how we can tell if someone is a true Christian or not. Answer: Anyone who loves God will obey him when it comes to sin. Thank you for reading and learning and taking the time out to read this and every other post in the past, please continue to read and to grow. Be Safe and Be Blessed, everyone.
