Posting these teachings every week is something that I always look forward too, I hope you look forward to it also. Lord Jesus, please help us to understand and to obey your word, surround those who read this message with love Lord Jesus let them know that no matter what they go through that you are always there with them for we know that you will never leave us nor forsake us. Please bless those and protect those who read this post in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Be sure to follow along with me if you so choose too. Tonight we will be going further into the concept of the phrase “God knows my heart” and why its interpretation is wrong. Let us take a look at scripture for tonight.

John 14:23 Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”

When it comes to the phrase “God knows my heart” you are allowing the devil to come in and rule in your hearts. So you continue to do what is wrong. Let us take a look at this scripture it says exactly that if you love God then will obey his teachings. Last week I mentioned about cursing that is not a part of the ten commandments but is a part of the word of God. Now since it is said in his word that cursing should not be then we are too allow ourselves to be separated from such acts. When you do not show that you love God by not keeping his words then you are showing God that my heart is not for him. You seem to have your agenda or view of what God is which is a false god. For in his word it did not say that fornication is fine, but is condemned. It’s like a child who disobeys their parents. Most definitely all parents can relate, well God is the same way, as children of God he wants us to obey him. Now when we obey God then we are allowing God to come into truly have Christ in our life. Pay attention to this part is going to get even deeper.

Galatians 1:10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ.

A lot of times we try to get the approval of our peers and those around us and still call ourselves Christians, or saved. But know that when we are trying to please others then we are not pleasing God. Our job as Christians, as children of God, is to please God, not man. Now when we say “God Knows my heart” then we are allowing ourselves to try and please both man and God. Matthew 6:24 “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon”. We cannot please God and man at the same time. You need to let go of your past. That means those who refuse to change with you in order to please God, you have to let go of people around you, whether it is a boyfriend or girlfriend or friends. You need positive people around you who can keep you in check in order to please God. In order to be saved then we are to show that we are obeying God, in every way. When we obey God then we are allowing the Holy Spirit to come in and change us in every way. From the way we think, the places we go, the people we associate with, the way we raise our children and etc.

Matthew 15:18-19 What comes out of the mouth proceeds from the heart…out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander”

The one thing that we have to understand is that the heart is a filthy thing full of evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false witness, slander and more but there is good news, we have a God that can and will create in us a new heart, and a clean heart. Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. I believe I taught on baptism before and so with baptism, we have to know that when we get baptized we are doing away with the old heart so we can become new creatures and that is where having a new heart will come in at. Speaking of having a new heart concerning myself, I used to have a bad heart when it comes to things like revenge or disobedience but since I have accepted God to come in to create in me a clean heart. Now, I have the right perspective on things. I want you to know that you too can have a new heart and a clean heart.

James 4:8-10 “Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Be wretched and mourn and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you”.

The point of this post is this, I want you to understand that the saying “God Knows My Heart” is not an excuse to use to allow God to look over your sin, that also includes any other saying such as this. Furthermore, I want to give you the good news that we can have clean hearts, establish a relationship with God and allow him to create in you a clean heart and see how God will bless you when you are obedient. Thank you for reading everyone, Be Safe and Be Blessed, everyone.
