A Preacher’s Misconception
Part 39
Topic: Living to please God
Sub-Topic: Judgement [2]

This week, we will be going over the first sub-category of “worldly Judgement”. This topic goes further than what we all think. When I looked further into this topic, I learned a lot. I pray tonight will be a good message, so many people can begin to understand more about what judging really is.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, As it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespasses against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, forever and ever, Amen.

1. Worldly Judgment- Wrong Judgment, This type of judgment is made from two different sides
• Making a judgment between two unsaved people
• Someone who is saved but is making a judgment against someone who is not saved

Tonight we will be going over the first bulletin.Luke 6:39-40

He also told them this parable: “Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit? The student is not above the teacher, but everyone who is fully trained will be like their teacher.

For this scripture, we will be going over it from a different perspective. When an unsaved person judges another then it becomes “the blind leading the blind”, why? Because neither has any wisdom or guidance. It’s basically making remarks about someone from no guiding source other than themselves. For an example, if I am unsaved and don’t like or agree with what someone is doing then I am judging them based off of nothing but myself. If we are not to judge one another then this world will be lost. Imagine if there are no cops, judges, government, or child protective services.
Society will be at a lost since no one wants to judge another. No cops, judges, government and so on can stop you from doing anything you want to. Without a standard and the basic concept of judgment then everyone will be able to do what they want to, without being held accountable. If the blind leads the blind then they will fall into a pit since there is no teacher, so having someone with knowledge will be able to help those without it become like their teacher. Have you ever heard of this comment? “I would not judge anyone, it is their business whatever they do.” There is so much wrong with this statement. Let us break it down from the beginning. The comment of “I would not judge anyone”, is a false statement. This is false, the fact is that we all judge in some way every day.  To give a quick example would be street preachers. The world hates preachers. Have you ever seen someone tell someone else you can’t judge me but yet they are making a judgment themselves because they are not letting the other person be themselves? The only reason people say these things is to get away from people condemning their sin. If you are sinning then the world back you up. Take a look at how society is today. where anything goes.

This week, I wanted you to learn that when it comes to an unsaved person judging another then it does not mean anything since there is no basis for making such comments. I could expand on this topic but I will leave at this for now. Next week we will be going into the lesson on the last bulletin on a worldly judgment. Until next time be safe and be blessed, everyone.
